The 60s and 70s was all about flower power and in 2009 it still remains to be Florfied. I don't think Floral dresses will ever be out of Fashion, they are the perfect ladylike outfit...
Whether the weather is warm or cold, its wearable put on a pair of tights 'Lace' ;) or leather jacket and make it the winter look, or a pair of sunnies and there you have it.
I can never throw away my floral dresses I just know it will always go to good use...
