The late Alexander McQueen position Creative Director has been filled, his right-hand Sarah Burton is said to take over... Sarah has worked with McQueen for sixteen years graduating from Central Saint Martins and joined the house of McQueen since 1996 and from 2000 she took over the womenswear and completed the Fall/Winter 2010-11 in March, Sarah is best person for this position.
With McQueen gone Sarah will have big shoes to fill as he was extraordinary, good luck to Ms Burton all the best for the future.
"The creation of modern, beautifully crafted clothes was at the heart of Lee's vision. I intend to stay true to his legacy," commented Burton on the announcement.
