Prabal Gurung has a mission this season: to arm women with classier options for dressing. Reacting against the "tight skirts and vulgar dresses", Prabal wanted to "make a statement about something different". And you can't argue with the man - we live in a world where there is so much flesh on show that we have become numb to it. Hence there are no thigh skimming, tight, obvious pieces in this collection - it is all about covering up, being more demure and enigmatic but still be fashion-forward.
We love the full length dresses - with the right killer heels and accessories they are perfect alternatives to the mini dress.
Prabal's collection was "inspired by beautiful girls — beautiful, smart, intelligent girls, intelligence being the forefront of it."
We think there are a few candidates here in Dubai that will be snapping up his pieces and doing him proud ;)
