The relaxed form and construction of the dunhill Bladon Drill Satchel is a fitting homage to the quintessential English Summer. A bag that has been designed with the ease of dress of the Bloomsbury Group in mind; a twill fabric construction has been realised in navy, beige and slate blue with flashes of vegtan cowhide leather and solid brass hardware.
Created for both form and function the satchel can be used in three ways – hand carried, over shoulder or as a rucksack – without the addition of extra straps. The main vegtan strap can be fed through a centre brass loop and hooked onto the bottom of the satchel to go from one shoulder to two. The main pocket of the satchel, which can be accessed either by buckles or “Sam Brown” fastening, holds both a zip pocket and key holder, pen loop and two phone pockets.
As with all dunhill large leather collections Bladon Drill has been created to last and age with its owner. With each use and journey the twill and vegtan leather of the bag will take on more personality and will become a catalogue of experiences.
